Announces First CD Release “Lost N Loving IT”

The Island Castaways Band announces their first CD release “Lost N Loving It”. The CD will be available for sale during their performance at the New England Parrot Head Convention March 1st 6:30-8:30pm at the Holiday Inn Mansfield, MA. The title track features an Alto Sax solo by none other than Amy Lee formerly of the Jimmy Buffett Coral Reefer Band. Joe Holewa Bass Player/Manager – This CD is a culmination of 3 years of hard work and band effort. Paul Kane guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter created the majority of song structures. The band contributed to the arrangements and sound. We are grateful to many people who participated in creating this CD “Ed Glod, Scott Ciprari, Neil Thomas, Roy Holliday, Deb Beauregard, Beth Hangelli, Heather Peck Ouellette, John Guertin and Amy Lee. The CD will be available after March 1st, on ITUNES and other digital outlets. Several college and three National radio stations have listened to the tracks and plan to introduce The Island Castaways Band to their programming schedule. The Town of Abington Summer Concerts begin at 6 p.m. and are held at the Catherine and Joseph Nisby Bandstand in the Millennium Memorial Complex just past Abington High School on Gliniewicz Way. Thanks to sponsors and donors, the concerts are free and open to people of all ages.

The Tsongas Center in Lowell, MA has asked us back to play June 28th 6-8pm outside by the river! Last year we drew a large crowd. What a great place for family and friends! Bring your lawn chairs.
